Newquay and a little beyond

Newquay is of course well known for its beaches - just to laze, play or surf! - (there are nearby surfing schools if you're interested)

Our caravan is literally a 'stones throw' from a 9 hole golf course (although you will have to travel by more conventional means! about ½ mile by road ) - and only a very few miles from others.

Golf Courses - usually open all year to visitors
  Holywell Bay - About 6 miles away
  Newquay - Centre of Newquay overlooking the Atlantic
  Treloy  - 9 hole executive course -  approx ½ mile by road 
  Trevose Superior Golf Course - near Constantine Bay - near Padstow
  Perranporth - Designed by James Braid in 1927 the original layout has not
  been changed!
  Lappa Valley - Attractively set in the lovely rural Lappa Valley near
  Newlyn East , this 12 hole course provides a challenge for experienced
  and novice golfers.
Fishing
Porth Reservoir - literally just a few minutes away -  
directions:  on leaving  the site turn left, up the hill past Treloy and  turn  left  - signed for the reservoir.
Whiteacres - another Parkdean holiday site - more well stocked pools.
Surfing
  Fistral Beach - just a few miles away - where they hold international
